God is a God of relationship. He designed us for intimacy with Him. He is also an infinite God who has countless ways He communicates with us. Many people want to know how to hear the voice of God.

He says in John 10:27 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

The greatest way God speaks to His people is through His Word in the bible. He also Speaks to us through His Holy Spirit (that still small voice within). In Romans 8:14 the bible declares, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God , these are the sons of God. Other ways the Lord speaks to us is through prayer, people, our circumstances, nature, dreams, visions, and revelation etc.

One of my favorite ways the Lord speaks to me is through two way journaling. He told me it was His supernatural “High”-way to God’s heart! I will write down my prayers, thoughts, praises, questions, concerns, and whatever else is on my heart. Then I wait for Him to respond to me. It’s like a two way conversation. That’s what prayer is and should be… two way. It’s all about RELATIONSHIP. When He speaks to my spirit I write it down.
