Honor is such a big deal to God because it encompasses so much. What God wants people to understand is that honor is a seed you sow that reaps honor in return. It not only blesses the one to whom honor is given but it comes back to bless the giver. There is a purpose for everything the Lord God commands us to do and it is ultimately for His glory but also for our own benefit. The greatest thing we will ever sow is God’s Word because it is the fullness of who He is and what He has freely given us to experience and give away!

If you are sensitive and obedient to the leading of God’s Holy Spirit He will led you in the way you should go for the best results both spiritually and naturally.

Anyone who is in debt way over their head knows what it feels like to be in bondage. The American lifestyle is conducive to getting in and staying in debt because people are not satisfied with moderation. They think they want or need more and more just to be happy. God’s will is for us to be free, not live in debt. To get your house in order it requires that you honor God’s order of doing things.

God has a lot to say about money in the bible. In fact there are over 2300 versus about it. Why are there two times more scriptures on money than faith and prayer combined? Scripture clearly indicates a connection between a person’s spiritual life and his values concerning money and possessions. What you HONOR is truly at the root of who will be your master.

I don’t think the body of Christ has fully understood the whole truth about God’s principle of HONOR. If you don’t understand something you can’t fully embrace it and most likely you will abuse it out of ignorance. If the church doesn’t understand honor they can’t model and teach it to the world. God is really big on honor and has a lot to say about it in the bible. It is directly connected to all of life.

Think of what it is like when your throat is parched and you are thirsting for a fresh drink of cool water. Likewise in the spirit, it is just as refreshing when you receive a fresh word from God that you truly need. Today I came to the well and drank deeply of God’s living Word regarding financial principles.

HONOR is a big deal to God. He calls us to honor Him above all others and to honor others. In doing this we place ourselves in position to receive honor. It flows from the head down and God is over all. God also loves those with a humble heart but He resists the proud and arrogant who think they don’t need Him.
