When you hear the word “calling,” what comes to mind? I wrote a poem five years ago with my own understanding of that word at that time in my life. The good Lord has a unique way of fine-tuning our thinking. I invite you to come along and see how He tweaked me to “see” what “calling” means through His eyes!

This is the church’s finest hour and the appointed time for us to manifest God’s Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven by the
power of His Holy Spirit! Rejoice in all the intense trials, tribulations and attacks of the enemy because it means we are doing damage to the kingdom of darkness.

What difference would it make to you personally if your favorite all-time hero, an international dignitary or world leader, a famous celebrity, or your prized superstar athlete walked into your presence? Greater still – What if Jesus walked into the room?

It is no secret that this world is in a mess as we watch on the news and media what is happening all over the world. These signs of the times of mass chaos and destruction from earthquakes, tsunamis, wars, nuclear fall-out, falling economies, and so on are enough to cause one to fear for their very life. Fear not because there is hope…

We all get discouraged because life’s circumstances have a way of pulling us down. The secret is to know how to not stay down but to get back up and continue fighting the good fight of faith. Even then, we need to stir up ourselves or those around us who need to be encouraged by the Word of God.

As a writer, I love words. It wasn’t until Jesus became my Lord and Savior that I realized the true significance and power of words. As God designed it to be, words are seeds we sow and they will always bear a harvest. We reap what we sow. God’s greatest gift and legacy to the world was His living Word Jesus, who showed us the Father’s heart of love lived out so we could know and follow Him.

Fasting and praying isn’t always the easiest thing to do. nonetheless, when we do it as unto the Lord, He is always so faithful to reward and bless our obedience and commitment to Him. The beginning of a New Year is a popular time many churches choose to go on a 21 day fast. Read the Word of the Lord I received on the last day of our corporate fast.

God has so much in store He wants for all of His children to have. In order to receive His blessings we must be in the right position. We do that by seeking His face and coming into alignment with His will and desires. He leads us by His Spirit to be in that state of union so we can experience the fullness of a relationship with Him.

So many people are crying out to God and praying for Revival and a great Awakening to take place. One only needs to discern the signs and the times we are living in to know that we are in trouble and desperately need a supernatural move of God. One encounter with the living God can change everything. In church we heard 9 radical testimonies of such encounters.

I can only imagine the reverential fear that filled the shepherds hearts when the angel appeared to announce the birth of Jesus. How wonderful it must have been to be an eye witness to the glorious appearing of the Savior of the world! The good news is that we can also be a witness to the reality of Jesus when we accept Him in our heart. Come let us adore Him!
